Van Speyk Sessel von Rob Eckhardt, 1985, 2er Set

This pair of model Van Speyk easy chairs were designed by Rob Eckhardt. The set was produced in a small series during the 1980s and are named after famous Dutch admiral Van Speyk. The chairs have been restored through re-upholstering in a red woolen upholstery fabric. These chairs are a typical example of early Dutch postmodern design with a sculptural presence and organic shape, with comofrtable seating.
